Monthly clearance is very important for serving corps members as it is a prerequisite to getting an allowance from Federal Government.  The clearance is done at the local government Secretariat where the local inspector (LI) has an office. The purpose of the monthly clearance is to mark a register you are still serving and have not absconded (JAPA)   The clearance is fix for 10 days. HOW TO RESOLVE DATE OF BIRTH ISSUES DURING REGISTRATION Disparity in the date of birth is always an issue for Corp member during registration before and during camping. Normally, you can't be born in two different dates of a year or different year, but then, most of the faults arises during errors of registration in a cafe or technically generated problem. By now you should know that waec verification pin is use to correct date of birth that is wrong on NYSC dashboard but right on waec result. Let say for instance my date of birth on my waec is 12/3/1999 and my date of birth on NYSC dashboard is 7/4/1998 what I need to do is to get waec verification pin to correct it to the one of my waec. All the Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) should note that the names they have on their school/nysc documents should correspond to the name on their Bank Verification Number (BVN) for NYSC account creation in camp... This is necessary because in NYSC camp, every Corps member is mandated to open a new bank account for NYSC allowance. The Bank officials at NYSC camp will request for your BVN, call up letter and passport for account creation. Also, do not forget to go to camp with your BVN because it will be needed for that purpose.  Advice on NYSC BVN Issue Register for BVN before going to NYSC camp (if you have not registered before). Make sure the name on your BVN correspond to the name on your school or NYSC documents. Store your BVN on your phone for reference in case you forget it.
